Job Accountabilities

Crown Cork and Seal a Fortune 200 packaging manufacturer has an immediate opening for Account Manager in their North American Closures Division.  Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service within the sales organization this position will be accountable for supporting customer's order fulfillment, technical support and quality issues.  It is expected that the employee will primarily work out of the company's facility in Lancaster, OH.  The position will be the primary customer liaison and interact with Field Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Technical Services and Quality.

Duties will include:

  • Receive, enter and ship orders at customer's request.  Maintain open order/inventory reports.  Track customer orders to ensure on time delivery.
  • Quote prices for new and existing items.
  • Submit engraving orders for new artwork and track through completion and item set up.
  • Advise and/or direct customers to appropriate personnel for technical information.
  • Handle customer complaints, directing them to the technical service group and quality assurance as appropriate.
  • Serve as primary contact and liaison to customers, service reps, field sales and other internal employees.
  • Participate in training in preparation for possible future field sales assignment.
Job Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor in Business, Packaging or Engineering preferred.
  • Two year experience including co-op/internship in sales/service/logistics positions preferred but recent college graduates will be considered.
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills required and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects to completion.
  • Effective communication skills are key attributes for this role.
  • Ability to relocate if required.
